The Flymo 340XC mower is generally a good mower. However, it is very heavy to handle when preparing for cutting grass. One problem with the mower is that the handle is not adjustable. Hence a slightly crouched position has to be adopted when using, this may not apply to all users as it depends on the height of user.A major problem is that where the handle connects to the body of the mower the plastic clamps are already showing signs of wear, after only one grass cutting and I can foresee that these will eventually wear out and need replacing which is not a simple job as the body of the mower would have to be replaced along with these clamps. Flymo needs to look at this aspect of the design of the mower and modify.

Great lawn mower,not being aprofessional gardener I find this mower really easy to use. Not too heavy and the back roller helps put lovely lines in your grass. The grass box does its job and it comes with a nice long lead. Happy gardening!

I was excited to receive my new lawn mower after a week. I managed to put it together quite easily but did notice that it was a lot bigger than my old flymo and heavier. The plus though was it went right up to the edges and it left no mess on my flower beds or patio like my old mower use to and the cut is just awsome! The only other thing I really didn't like about it was the way the handle folds down when not in use. To get it to fold flat you basically have to take it apart. I couldn't be bothered to do that everytime I finished mowing so I just leave it ready for mowing in the shed which does take up a lot of room. Overall though I am pleased with it.
