Brilliant light-weight easy to use drill - does everything it says it should - BUT and it's a big but - it's virtually impossible to get a decent range of bits for it. It comes with 2 masonary bits, both fairly large, and 2 universal wood/metal bits, both too large to be of any use except for making clearance holes. I wrote to Bosch to ask if they do a set of small universal SDS quick bits (which do fit) or an adapter to take standard drill bits and the answer is no. The Uneo doesn't of course take standard drill bits but beware, SDS+ bits DO NOT FIT either, neither did the drill chuck with SDS+ adaptor that I bought so I could use the beautiful set of Bosch standard drill bits that I bought at the same time as the drill. I have found a set of hex drill bits made by Trend which I'm going to try next. I'll let you know how I get on!Well, 5 stars for the Trend set of 13 hex quick release drill bits! Although a little pricey, they work with the Uneo a treat but I am now stuck with the fancy Bosch set of standard bits that was actually advertised as a deal with the Uneo which DON'T FIT. Somebody will be getting a nice Christmas present I think this year!

May 2011. The Bosch UNEO 3-in-1 is a brilliant tool; it's beautifully light-weight and it's cordless (it won a design award in 2009). Yes, it only comes with a few Bosch SDS Quick drill bits, but you don't have to worry about the lack of accessories any more -- and you don't need to order accessories from Germany anymore either. Miles Tool & Machinery Centre (Yeovil, Somerset; telephone 01935 421281; www.mtmc.co.uk) sells a compact Bosch universal adapter (product number 2 608 572 075) which works with the UNEO. With this adapter, you can use all your standard drill bits in your UNEO (taking up to a 10 mm cylindrical shank).WARNING: DO NOT buy an SDS+ adapter or SDS Plus drill bits ('Plus' means big - and any SDS plus item is too big for the UNEO). Other DIY beginners techie talk: the Uneo uses Bosch SDS Quick drill bits or it may take other bits with a hexagon shank -- it doesn't take SDS plus drill bits or HSS drill bits. REMINDER: The UNEO manual also says "use only screwdriver bits with ball catch (DIN 3126-E6.3). Other screwdiver bits can be used with a universal bit holder with ball catch."Bosch lose a star (and they should go stand in the corner and feel shame) for not including a universal adapter in their kit, or making a larger range of SDS Quick drill bits easily available in England.

What a mission! Like everyone else says getting drill bits are a nightmare. I checked with bosch themselves and there is actually two drill bit sets available for the uneo. I bought the more complete one, where from?
