5Great bit of Kit
By Mr. J. Dalton
This is a great bit of kit. I bought mine back in May for my birthday to record game footage from my PS3.The product comes with a high quality component lead for the output to your TV/amp. I had to buy a separate component lead for my PS3 (from Amazon for about £3).Setup is a breeze, and you will be recording hi-def video in no time. One thing to note - use the supplied USB2.0 lead - otherwise the software will not detect the device. a normal usb 1.0 cable will NOT work with this device, so if you need to put your device further away from your computer, then make sure you get a USB2.0 certified lead. One other thing to note is that you can now buy these devices for a lot less than the price advertised here ([...]!!) I paid [...] for mine but have recently seen then going for about £153.This is not compatible with HDMI ports - so look at other products if that is what you are wanting to record via that medium.

5My own band but without the band members ego's. Wow!
By Mr. Michael Hill
I have always enjoyed putting words to music. From whatever music source I would start singing my own lyrics. Once retirement came along I decided to try my hand at song writing. Big problem was I can't play any musical instruments. I used samples of music and sounds created by others but the music then lacked a professional feel. Also, I needed to provide music for my Animations and Musical Slideshows. Then I found Band-in-a-Box and it seemed just the job. My new computer was a Matrix Pro NERO by MESH. It has a AMD Phenom II X4 995 Black Edition Processor, 2GB DDR3 1333MHz Ram Memory and Windows 7 Professional.Installation was simple using the default settings. On starting the software, it was quite apparent that I had a learning curve ahead of me. Now, 5 weeks later, I have composed the music for one song and have another in progress. How it all works is beyond me, but the results are truly amazing. I am now at the stage where I can alter what the program offers me to suit my needs. Buying the MegaPAK meant I was also getting Add-ons which prevented me getting bogged down in what to buy.In addition, if a singer wants to record my song, I can also provide the Chords, Notation and Lyrics for their Arranger. The Audio Chord Wizard is really something. Simply play an audio file and it will type in the Chords. The website has easily found Updates and the Forum is full of helpful people. For someone as new to this sort of thing as I am, this Product is just the job.EDIT added 04/04/2011:I have now recorded 6 songs with others in production and all using this product. I have since downloaded, as an existing 2010 owner, Band-in-a-Box 2011 free of charge. The Download Files were many and HUGE, taking a working day to download with a 250kb sec Virgin Media Internet connection. But as the downloads worked in the background, it was no problem and the upgrade went smoothly. As all online upgrades from PG Music have. I don't know why, but I do not get update notifications, so have to check the PG Music website. It's still a great product!!! Though Amazon are saying today that Band-in-a-Box 2011 is currently unavailable from Amazon.co.uk.

The TV card for my new computer arrived promptly and following installation is working well. However be aware that the boxed item received is in German packaging and the installation instructions provided are also in German. If you are computer literate then installation should be straight forward otherwise you will need to learn German without delay.

4Antec Notebook Cooler 200
By Toops
Firstly the Antec Notebook Cooler 200 is extremely well packaged and is the first thing prospective buyers should look for as it gives an indication as to the quality of the product inside.Even though the cooler is predominantly made from plastic, it is extremely sturdy and very well built able to accomodate smaller laptops up to and including 17" gaming laptops. The cooler works in two ways firstly raising the laptop on the protruding inner stands (which are reflective) so as to allow greater air-flow in and around your laptop's underside, and secondly by constantly shifting the stale air and replacing it with cool air using its 'Big Boy' fan.The cooler is aesthetically pleasing and features blue neon lights within the fan's setting that gives off a futuristic glow that will inevitably please those within the modding fraternity. If this is not to your liking it can also be switched off.Going back to the fan, its large size (far bigger than any other laptop cooler fan presently on the market) means that the level of noise it emits even on high setting (it features two speed settings) is minimal. It is also one of the only coolers to be made with the intention of being able to use it on one's lap which is another added bonus - one of the advantages of having a laptop afterall is its ability to be used anywhere you want. The whole unit requires very little power to run and most laptops should have no trouble with running it via a spare USB hub, though you should make sure that the USB sockets on your laptop are able to power external hardware such as this before you purchase - anything made after the year 2000 should be safe.Another important point that you should consider is the layout of the vents (if any) on the underside of your laptop. Having no vents at all (as do many Applebooks) will not get the full benefit from this cooler, as it blows cool air from the ground-up and hopefully into the vents within your system. Make sure too that you are not one of the unfortunate ones to have a fan vent that blows downwards on the underside of your laptop, as it would immediately conflict with the cooler's airflow in the opposite direction and possibly damage your machine. One of the freeware applications I used to measure the cooler's effectiveness was SpeedFan which measures internal (CPU and GPU) temperatures within computers and it lowered temperatures in all areas (vent exhaust, keyboard, underside, batteryback etc) and does exactly what it says on the box, though it is fairly expensive. All in all a great purchase. It only gets 4 stars because the unit could have done with an added USB hub for the USB it takes to power the thing, but even without it this cooler comes highly recommended if you don't mind splashing out so as to protect your £1000+ investment!

5Wow
By C. Hill
When I opnened it out of the box my first impression was 'wow', this looks awesome! It really is a stunning stylish design far better looking than any other cooler ever produced. My laptop is a Dell inspiron 6400 with a screen size of 15 1/2" and it fits comfortably on the raised aluminium supports. The cooler seems big enough to be effective with 17" laptops also.It says it has a 'big boy' fan and they're not kidding, its huge and covers at least 80% of the base of my laptop keeping it very cool. My laptop used to get up to 80 degrees centigrade just browsing on firefox but it's now stable in the 50's and peaking around 60 degrees when measured with speedfan. It's also worth noting that the fan blows cool air onto your laptop rather than sucking the hot air away. The fan is also very quiet as it's so large, possibly even quieter than my laptop fan.The only downside's are that the cooler is pretty large and much thicker than anything i've seen so it's not particularly portable. One reason for this is that the fan housing is about an inch in height underneath the cooler. The other reason is the ergonomic design they have used for the legs as there is an arc which mimics the curve of your legs, allowing it to sit very confortably on your lap. It's a little pricey at around £50 but if you're looking for effective heat dissipation then look no further. Unlike a lot of coolers which seem flimsy and overly plasticy, the build quality is great along with the looks and functionality, and it looks to me to be a good investment which will not break and also keep my laptop alive a lot longer.

4Antec Notebook Cooler 200
By Kelly
I was a little apprehensive about this product at first due to the price, after my first purchase of a laptop cooler I was disappointed to say the least. The fans didnt blow very fast and hardly kept my laptop cool when playing games. This cooler however, does its job really well. It has a fast fan with two speeds and the fan is quite large and the air it blows out is nice and cold which helps my laptop suck it up and cool itself. So make sure your laptop sucks air through the bottom if you are looking to buy this cooler. It also has a blue light underneath with an on and off switch, I cant see the point of this apart from aesthetic purposes, but on the whole i dont think it needs this as this cooler looks very chic anyway.I am very happy with the Antec Cooler 200, it is a little pricey, but does its job very well. On the whole, I would recommend this product. I have not given it 5 stars because it could do with an extra USB slot because the power cord fits into a USB and my laptop only has two.

5You little beauty
By K. Jamal
First things first...the design of the player makes it a joy to hold. In fact I can't let it go. Each time I put it down, I pick it up again for a feel! And equally important to me, how nice to have a player with simple drag and drop for files.A 480x272 pixel, 16.7 million colour amoled screen beats anything else I have seen. Whether this is better than the Sony X series which also is amoled I cannot say. Can't afford to buy both to compare. 16.7 million colours is obviously good but I am sure a million here or there probably makes no difference at all. Amoled is the latest screen display. It uses less power as it does away with backlight and is also thinner. Also it responds quicker than other displays so movies play much smoother without any ghosting that I could detect. The blacks look really black. The screen is of the capacitative type. Basically what this means is that it needs no pressure on the screen. I have had an Archos 704 for quite a while and I can vouch for the difference. On the Archos screen, you have to dig in your finger or give it sharp taps. And every time I do this, I feel I am going to damage the screen. An additional bonus is rather than everything being touch screen, Cowon has added buttons at the top for volume, pause, play and reverse/forward. This is really good as I can change things while the cowon remains in my pocket. This little PMP plays mp3, wma, ogg, wav and flac. Probably others as well. You can sort your music by the usual tags...album artist, genre and so on. It has a tilt sensor. It is very light for its size. Some may feel this makes it feel cheap as if weight was a measure of quality. An age old hangup with gold I expect!!. For me the lighter a thing is the better. Battery life is great for music. They claim over 40 hours. I have never found these claims to be true on anything I've ever bought because they seem to calculate battery life on MP3s played at 128 Kpbs but even if it lasts 20-25 hours, that's good enough for me.I chose the S9 over the Sony X series after a lot of weighing up. The Sony is cheaper and has wifi but no Bluetooth. The S9 has bluetooth but no wifi. In the end I decided to go for Bluetooth, so I could connect to Bluetooth speakers which I thought was more useful than wifi. I can't imagine I would use the internet on a 3.3 inch screen for too long after the novelty wears off. Unfortunately, trying out the bluetooth with the Linx B Tube speakers (which I have reviewed before and they are great!), I find that connectivity is not upto mark and the sound breaks up over a couple of feet. I have made this point on a cowon discussion board and lets hope cowon addresses this issue. A bit of a let down.I won't go into technical details too much as these are easily available on the internet and I encourage anyone wanting to buy this to have a good read before they splash out on this expensive piece of kit.It is a shame that there does not seem to be any plans to produce one with a flash drive of 64GB or more. 64GB flash drives are getting affordable so why stop at 32? Most people now rip music at 320kpbs and 32GB isn't all that much especially if you want to load high quality videos as well. A 64GB S9 would have run the iPod touch out of town but it seems every company, however good they may be, suffers from an inferiority complex and only wants to follow where the iPod leads. If you are prepared to fork out the extra cash, buy this and let your friends look at you with envy!!

4Nearly Perfect
By Andy C
Cowon s9 reviewNearly Perfect****I've had the Cowon S9 for about a month now and I have to say it is the best mp3 player I have ever had. The sound quality has to be heard to be believed and the screen picture is crystal clear. There have been comments made about it being "too light" and flimsy but I don't think that is the case, I got the official Cowon leather case for it and it is metal covered in leather, this bulks up the weight and makes it feel more durable. The UI it has to be said isn't as intuitive as it could be and takes a while to navigate your way around although the firmware upgrades are helping with the customisable main menu. The audio quality is fantastic, it will play mp3, wma, flac, wav, ape and ogg, the level of customisable EQ settings is excellent and really enhance the music, especially Stereo enhance which really improves the stereo separation. The Bass is thumpy and clear and the treble is crystal, you might want to dump the bundles earphones and buy a decent pair, I am using Creative's Aurvana Live and they sound fantastic with it. You can view all your album art in landscape mode which is nicer I think than the iPods coverflow.Video is superb and the player has an accelerometer which allows you to view in landscape aswell as portrait. It plays in AVI and WMV but not H264.The radio is funky with a big dial but I haven't found out yet if you can name the stations. Bluetooth is nice aswell and pairs easily with the Sony BT SRS 100 speaker but will only stream music not transfer files. I don't know how to use the Flash player feature but I believe you can play games on it; I have no interest in this feature. The battery life is fantastic although it takes about a month to get it up to its full potential. One of the big selling points for me on this player is the external buttons Play, pause, fwd, rew and vol this allows you to control the player while it's in your pocket unlike the Creative XFi-2 which is totally touch screen. You can also lock the touch screen so it doesn't go on and off in your pocket. I would have liked if the headphone socket was at the top of the player, as having it on the bottom means the headphone jack gets bent if the player is in your pocket, I don't see any locigal reason to have it at the bottom. The only gripe I have is with the Playlist function which is a big problem for the S9. You can only make playlists in mp3 or wma codec but not FLAC (not sure about the others) and the player must be set to MTP mode. If you change back the player to MSC (for drag and drop facility or to send FLAC files to the player) and reconnect it to the PC your playlists are lost, I don't know why this happens and will hopefully be fixed in the next firmware upgrade. The bundled software Jet Media Centre is worse than useless, the basic version you get with the player doesn't rip to mp3 and the player doesn't like wma as it mixes up the tags. Having said that there is a single "Favourites" playlist on the player which does play FLAC and you can easily add songs or video to and that doesn't get lost when you convert from MTP to MSC.There is however light at the end of the tunnel with two third party pieces of software "Playlist Creator" which allows you to make any file type of playlist on your PC and save it to the S9's playlist folder as a m3u file. Also "Claw UI" which you will have to install onto the player and this allows you to make any file type playlists on the player itself. I don't know why Cowon couldn't have come up with this themselves as it the only thing letting down this fantastic piece of kit.Overall I'd recommend the S9 if you want a top quality audio and video player and are not bothered with playlists or wi-fi. If Cowon can get the playlist problem sorted then it is on its way to being a real iPod beater for audiophiles and music snobs everywhere.ProsUnbelievable sound quality with fully customisable EQA-B feature for repeating sections of songs or video and tempo and pitch adjustmentSupports Flac and other lossless codecsCrystal clear screen resolutionAccepts flash and has customisable screenExternal buttons which can be controlled from the pocketBeautiful coverflow showing 18 albums per screenBluetooth compatibility with speakers and headphonesFantastic designContinuous firmware upgradesMassive Battery Life six weeks now and counting between chargesConsPlaylist functionality is limited, it won't let you make playlists for FLAC or under MSC (drag and drop) modeAlthough it plays WMA files it won't recognise the tags so the tracklist will be all jumbled upIt won't support gapless playback unless it's a FLAC file (so you can't have a playlist with a gapless album)You can't name the radio stationsHeadphone socket is at the bottom which can lead to damage of the headphone jackUI takes a bit of getting used toBattery life is considerable shorter than advertised if you are using EQ and large files with large headphones

4Eats Apples
By Jon Hundy
This thing is beautiful. I converted my CDs to mp3s and my music collection outgrew my 8GB mp3 player. I needed a 32GB player, so after hours of googling and forum reading I got this.Stick it in any computer and it acts like a USB stick, just drag 'n' drop your files. It's a bit slow starting when the full 32GB capacity is used, but if you're buying an mp3 player to listen to music then I highly recommend the Cowon S9, the sound quality is excellent. If you're not an audiophile and want to play games, surf t'Internet and stuff, get the Apple ipod Touch.

5Great value and performance
By Baldy Dave
I bought this processor as part of a Home Theatre PC build (using a Shuttle SG33G5 Barebones PC) for a family member. Out of the crate it runs coolly and gives very usable HTPC performance for the 50 quid I spent on it. If you are using Vista or Windows 7 I would recommend at least 2GB of memory to partner the processor, otherwise the E5300 really won't be able to show what it is capable of.However the real beauty of this processor is how you can increase its performance through overclocking. Less than 5 minutes tinkering with the computer BIOS had the Shuttle PC running happily at 3.0 GHz and it's system/CPU fan never rose above 1000RPM (quiet) during normal day-to-day use. Really hammering the processor made the fan speed up a bit (1800RPM) but this was using a system stress test program and you would be very unlucky to stretch a HTPC this far during normal use.The 3GHz overclock is pretty mild compared with what can be achieved. I had the Shuttle System running at just under 3.2 GHz but the fan started to become noisy and the cheap DDR800 memory I was using reached it's limit and occasionally blue-screened Windows 7 during system stress-testing. Using a good motherboard, improved CPU cooling and better memory will easily enable this cracking little processor to run at 3.4GHz and above. A search on the Internet will provide adequate proof of that. Anyway I backed-off the Shuttle system to 3GHz as it runs coolly, quietly and reliably at this speed and is more than adequate to give great Home Theatre PC performance using Windows 7.In summary, the E5300 is a cracking budget processor that can easily be tweaked to give performance that belies its low price. I think it's a fantastic choice as the basis for a Home Theatre PC build, or a budget gaming PC (partnered with an appropriate video card). Buy with confidence!

5Great value for money
By Dr. Ernest J. Hammond
I bought this CPU for my first DIY computer build. I wasn't sure exactly what would be in the box, so for info you get the CPU, a cooling fan with heatsink, and also a pre-applied wad of thermal paste so you won't need to buy that.I fitted it to a Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L Motherboard Intel Core 2 Extreme Socket 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Gigabit Ethernet. The build went fine and it powered up first time. I find the performance of the Intel E5300 very impressive, given it is (just) a two core. I'm using an ancient PNY Verto graphics card (just a PCI one, not a PCIe) but even so I can run two screens, Google Earth in 3D drifting mode, a YouTube video, a real-time dealing platform with multiple graphs, my emails, other browser windows etc, all without a noticeable degradtion in perormance. Well, a bit of jitter if you drag a window, but that's about it. No jerky video or sound dropouts.I can recommend it. I don't think you will be disappointed in this budget priced, but far from budget performance, CPU.

5Surprisingly capable.
By G. Robertson
I bought this CPU for my first PC build (from another source, however).Using it in conjunction with an Asus P5KPL-AM SE board (cheap!) and 2GB of DDR2 800MHz memory, it seems very good at multitasking. Running multiple anti-spyware scans, virus scans, Google Earth with rapidly rotating globe, iTunes playing video and web browsing simultaneously poses no problem at all.For the price, this is a real bargain and more than suits my requirements.Edit: during the couple of years since I bought this, I've upgraded just about every component to the point that I had enough spare bits to resurrect my original machine. With the same Asus motherboard, this CPU and memory I added an HD5770 graphics card and the computer can run Skyrim on high setting, be it at a resolution of 1366 x 768. Not bad at all.

4good value for money
By simon zak
i bought the digitech rp355 a year ago and after reading the handbook was well under way setting my own presets.(make sure you take the protective film off the unit as it makes pressing the buttons easier.)the range of sounds are varied and very good.i have had loads of effects pedals and multi effects in the past(boss, zoom, korg) which i have sold and this is one i'll keep.it does all i ever wanted.all the effects built in are very useable.the built in drum machine does a good job.to go into all the effects would take to long to review. i currently use a gibson sg standard, fender super champ xd(valve amp)as my guitar and amp.other set up may have a different sound to mine.

3Good if Unimpressive Selection of Effects
By A. K. Sheikh
Always looking to lighten the load to gigs, I bought this because it had a huge number of plusses: a good price, a wide range of effects, lightweight with a small footprint and most importantly for me, XLR outputs for going straight into a mixing desk without needing a DI box. This is very useful in that you can leave your amp at home and just ask understanding sound engineers at gig venues to run the unit straight into their mixing desks. (You are then at the mercy of said sound person and the on-stage monitoring, but that's the trade-off.)There is a very good selection of amplifier and cabinet combinations, modulation and delay effects and a nice sounding wah too, but nothing stands out as amazing. I would say that it's a brilliant unit for bedroom use and for trying out sounds in a rehearsal room. However, the sound of this unit quickly becomes fatiguing. There's a high-mid-range peak that you can never quite get rid of no matter how hard you work the equaliser (even with its helpful sweepable mid-band). Once that sound runs through at full-band volume for a while it begins to be the only thing you hear. The amp+cab combinations, whilst solid, do tend to become same-y after a while and some of the distortions are just poor. The filter effects like wah and the phasers are good, as are the modulations (chorus, flanger, vibe) and delays. There are some nice Lexicon reverbs here: not as lush-sounding as Lexicon studio reverbs, but this whole unit is a tenth of the price of a rack-mounted Lexicon processor so it's hardly surprising! There is also a Fender Deluxe reverb that does that nice "boink" sound when you hit the strings too hard.I wish I could have used it live a lot more, but the depth of quality is missing from the sounds (especially the distortions), there is a noticeable break in the sound as adjacent patches are selected and that frequency peak is irritating. In terms of construction, too, I think it's limited to bedroom use: there's no on/off switch; the plastic top panel is easily bent out of shape; and the first pot, with the push function, can easily be crushed in a gig-bag, requiring you to pull the plasic knob off and press the pot itself in order to work it. Also, with such a small form factor, the three pedals feel very tight and in the heat of a gig it's easy to accidentally kick in the bypass, switch to "stomp" mode or worse, start the looper recording!I've also recorded using this unit and it is fine for rough demos. For all its shortcomings, this unit is a great introduction to the world of effects and does away with a lot of complications, but the limitations do mean that it probably won't go much further than your bedroom or first 10-20 gigs.

5Digitech RP355
By Peter H
This arrived very quickly within 2 days.its a great effects board. I had the older RP300 for 12 years ago and gigged it too death for live. it was so worn i had to get another one. So i got this one which is more up to date. at half the price which is good. i really like the 4 outputs feature as its more for a pro setup. it suits my band setup. 2 outputs are line plus 2 xlr to a mixing desk. so i run the xlr to our monitor desk with headphone feeds to singer, drummer with click track etc and the line out to my Marshall stack. plus the other good feature is you can program patches on your laptop as it has a USB socket. this saves me bending over for 5 mins programming when at my ripe old age you dont want to bend down to long. lol.they have added two extra features compared to the old RP300 which is a harmoniser and looper which are both great. The only niggly thing is sometimes when i switch the wah pedal on it sometime switches to volume pedal and i cut my volume off.but with a bit of foot practice i managed to get used to it. you may be able to program it in so it doesn't do this. i havent tried yet.the distortions are not as varied as the old RP300 as they had good blues, crunch sounds and one metal sound. but they replaced the blues and fender crunch sounds in this unit with more varied rock and metal sounds, new dark and heavy sounds are great for all types of rock and metal from metallica to Korn. this suits my metal band so im fine with this change. but if you like blues you can always get a few pedals of your taste. best of all it has the digitech whammy which boss or Line 6 don't have so i like this for the crazy vai and satriani solos.great load of effects for your buck compared to Boss and Line 6. highly recommended.

5Excellent & worth every penny!!!!
By Alida Sunderland
I purchased this for my granddaughters 1st birthday and she now plays with it every day. It is a strong, quality toy and excellent for learning about animals and role-play. Wonderful toy which can certainly be recommended for the younger child. Totally delighted.

5We're going to play all day!
By Nicola Hardy
I bought this Playmobil 123 large zoo set for my daughter as a Christmas present when she was nearly two. The set comprises two enclosures, a good selection of animals, a zookeeper, family visiting the zoo and other peripherals such as trees and feeding troughs. The quality of the pieces is great - really durable plastic and all easy to wash should the need arise. My daughter is having great fun naming all the different animals and starting to see how different scenes can be created. As the Playmobil 123 figures can be used alongside regular Playmobil pieces, I'm hoping that we will get plenty of use from this toy.

5Excellent processor. Good price.
By Pedro
I needed an amp simulator, mainly for home recording, but also for occasional live work where the FX would be useful. I didn't try out loads of pedals in a shop, but I read reviews and checked them out on you tube and based my decision on that. The RP 155 has great amp models ranging from vintage classics to modern high tech. The effects are high quality from the delays, reverbs, wonderful rotary and vibrato, distortions, compressors etc.I am not a fan of over processed modern sounds, (yes, I'm an old fart), but if that's what you want the RP 155 has them. The 50 presets cover a huge range of sounds and the excellent USB link allows you to change every aspect of each preset and store it in any location. All models and processors are displayed on one page on the PC screen so you can see exactly what you've got and select or deselect and comprehensively adjust any of the 11 items in the effects chain. Important things like amp gain and reverb depth etc etc can be adjusted quickly on the pedal itself.I have played guitar for over 40 years (and then some). I use a 40 plus year old Fender valve amp and Les Paul, Strat and Telecaster guitars. I am fussy about the sound of amps. VERY fussy. I go for subtle distorion and FX. I am not easily satisfied. However, as soon as I plugged in to the RP 155 I loved it. I have recorded several songs on my fairly basic PC studio and I am amazed at how good the guitars sound. It has been easy to set up distinct sounds for the the different guitar parts and I have been inspired by the quality of those sounds. Everytime I finish a part I am really pleased with the result, but really disappointed that I've got to move on to the next part. I just want to keep playing with whatever the current sound is. A big plus is the DI setting which is giving me the best bass guitar sound I've ever recorded.I have used the pedal live plugged into the FX return of a transistor amp and it sounded amazingly good. It could mean no more lugging the valve amp around, so even my back loves the RP 155.Check out the rivals and the others in the Digi Tech range, but I have found the RP 155 to be an excellent unit. It's worth the money just for the vibrato and rotary sounds.

5DigiTech RP155
By Replican't
I bought this to replace my ailing RP100 unit. I purchased mine second hand from a local Cash Generator and wasn't that impressed when I got it home and out of the box, save for the drum machine and the ability to modify patches via USB on my PC so I continued to use the RP100 as it seemed some patches I had created on that were nearly impossible to get on the RP155.A week or so later it dawned on me that as it was second hand, I should try a factory reset and all of a sudden I owned a great modelling processor with 99 excellent and distinctive patches - just to clarify, the ones programmed by this unit's previous owner really were awful and offputting. So I love it now, although it is difficult to get exact results as far as duplicating patches from my RP100 goes, there are equivalents available that are just as good. All that aside, this unit feels more robust and hardy than its predecessor, patches are still easy to program - especially so now that it can be done with the click of a mouse - and it sounds great.

5Amazing price for an amazing little box!
By B. white
Inside the sturdy metal casing of the Digitech RP155 is an AudioDNA2 processor chip which helps this box create 83 different Amps/Cabinets, Stompboxes and Effects; All sounding high quality.I have an ESP Ltd EC-50 guitar and 10W practice amp, if I turn on some multi chorus and tape delay with lexicon hall reverb it makes my substandard amp and £200 guitar sound like they are both worth much more! It has so many different styles packed into one that whether you're into death metal, blues or country this multi processor will be for you. It doesn't have the addition of the tremelo foot pedal like the RP255 but it makes little difference. It makes me want to play guitar much more! You don't need to have a load of pedals and patch cables sprawled out in front of you.To summarize it has:- 23 Amps/acoustic types- 12 Cabinet types- 30 Tones and 30 Effects libraries- 100 presets (50 factory 50 user)- Lexicon reverbs- A 20 second looper- 60 quality drum patterns from it's built in drum machine- 5 seconds of delay- Built in chromatic tuner- 2xUSB ports for many more features and editing on the PC like the X-Edit softwareAnd on a final note that should put everything into perspective. You can buy a single effects pedal called a Digitech Delay, this costs more than this multi processor at £84 and only has 4 seconds delay. This box is just £75 and comes with a handful of 5 second delay pedals built in...
