I ordered this to install in a Dell Optiplex 980 Small-Form-Factor PC,for use in a Debian / Ubuntu Linux firewall.I wanted 3 ethX devices in a tiny silent box.Works a treat - you need Kernel 2.6.32 or higher to get the on-board and this cardall to co-operate happily, and the following kernel options:* Intel(R) PRO/1000 PCI-Express Gigabit Ethernet support* Intel(R) 82575/82576 PCI-Express Gigabit Ethernet support* Intel(R) 82576 Virtual Function Ethernet support
