This is a really nice watch. Very well made and heavy duty. The strap is quite tricky to adjust as you need two jewellers screw drivers to undo the screws in each link. The links and clasp on the strap are very substantial and should last a life time of wearing. Movement seems quite smooth but too eatly to say how accurate it will be as only arrived yesterday. Seems ok so far so hopefully won't be too far out if at all.The box that it came in is wooden and self destructed on opening - one of the hinges came apart and then the second followed shortly after. Junk. Forget about itDelivery was quite quick and took just under 3-weeks rather than the 2-months indicatedAll in all a really good watch and very good quality for the money. Would certainly recommend it

I ordered this watch and waited for it to arrive expecting a long wait, but itarrived a little sooner, 3 weeks. The product was well packed in a metal casewith lots of foam and protective paper around the watch. The watch was not working,but a couple of winds and it started. The strap was far to big for my wrist, so aquick visit to a local jeweler and had a link removed. This made the fit muchbetter. The Detomaso is not a very well known name for watches and the companybetter known for sports cars in the 70's. The watch looks to be well made andis a little heavy but comfortable to wear.Now for time keeping. I have checked it for the last 5 days with an atomicclock that I have on a weather station and found that it is very accurateout of the box. It gains approx 3 seconds a day when worn and looses the sameover-night when standing vertical, crown to the right. This is very good forany mechanical time-piece and seems to be within COSC limits of -4to +6 secondsper day. I now will see what it does after a month or two when it has settleddown. This is a very good watch and can be recomended.Graham.
