A great little drive

I've had a regular stream of external disks, as I constantly keep upgrading to try and keep pace with my backup needs. This 500Gb model was to replace a full 160Gb Western Digital model.The thing that first strikes you about this drive is how smart it looks. It's highly reflective steel - I've yet to test it for the claimed resistance to scratching - something that my previous Western Digital (plastic) was pretty rubbish at.It also comes with a fairly smart faux leather case, something several others similar models in this category don't have.It is powered solely by the USB cable - a double-ended one is supplied, but I found (on my Macbook Pro at least) you only need to plug one in. Although it only works with the thick one - try plugging it in with just the thin one results in the drive not being detected. I'll probably swap the cable for a standard USB one.The only slight criticism is the amount of packaging it comes with - countless pieces of plastic and cardboard, plus two thick (several hundred pages, and thicker than the product itself!) manuals.However, the quality of finish and inclusion of a case, without a price premium over other 500gb models makes this, in my opinion, a winner.

Solid Performer

This product delivers everything you would expect. The previous reviews cover pretty much all the details you need. The fact that you don't need an external power source is great. The stylish finish is lovely and the case supplied does a great job in protecting it.The one thing worth noting is that I have been unable to transfer files which are larger than 5gb in size. It just won't allow you to do it. I wanted to store large video files on here but was slightly disappointed that this is not possible. I don't know if this is the case with other HDD's. It might be worth investigating this further should you need to regularly transfer large files.All other aspects of this device are excellent. The drive is quiet in operation and transfers data at a reasonable speed.

Fell apart as soon as I took items out of box

I received my Toshiba steel hard drive and it fell apart (the metal casing split in two) as soon as I took it out of the box. I can only assume the build quality is poor, as the packaging looked in perfect condition. I would therefore not recommend this product on the grounds that it is poor quality build.

Secure and strong but unattractive

I bought this to carry the earphones & charger for my PulsePen and conference earphones for my mobile. It's perfect for this purpose. It's a sturdy little case with no danger of the contents being damaged or falling out. It is secured by a zip that has a large tag, which makes opening a small case with four corners very easy. The only gripe I have is the appearance; it's quite garish and has an unnecessary protruding badge on the top.

Makes a great razor case too....

I bought mine for safely packing a razor and blades when I went travelling. Perfect - one side holds the razor, and the other side holds the spare blades, tucked into the little mesh pocket. Works a charm!

Samba Travel Case for JBuds

This little case is great for the price. Its sturdy, so easy to pack or throw in a handbag, and because its deep you can put quite a bit in it. It has double sided net pockets so anything you put in the case will be held securely. I found the zip to be a little stiff, but that could just be that it will get better with use. Its a nice size and I liked it enough that having bought this one, I bought a second one in pink. It comes in quite a few colours, which is great.

This case was purchased to hold a Pro Video camera for freelance work.The case is one in a range of many variants of camera case's manufactured by/for Kata.My requirements were a quality made bag, external protection from knocks and the elements, sufficient room for a camera and important equipment, internal padding and movable seperators, easy to carry or use with a trolly, smart looking but discreet colours (avoid unwanted attention) realistic price.It is most important to get the correct size bag for your camera and equipment; too small and damage can occour or items cannot be included in the bag resulting in a further bag being taken to location, too large means more internal padding to prevent movement and akward to carry.This bag provides me with sufficient room for a Sony EX3/Cannon XF305/Panosonic HPX171E type of camera with matt box fitted (French Flag detached on some type of matt boxes)In addition I can carry a shot gun mic and suspension mount, camera batteries, camera light, radio mic and receiver, Hard drive(eg.FS100).Headphones and an all weather camera cover can then rest on top in the main compartment. The sturdy movable seperators protect equipment and provide tidy compartments to locate items. (additional seperators to provide more variation can be purchased but this cuts down camera space---Size of bag!)The one full length outside pocket provides storage for various leads and non bulky items.Likes: Well made, sturdy, good internal protection, secure closure system, looks good.Dislikes: Should have two external full length external pockets, needs a securing strap to hold open top flap when getting equipment out or in the case.

DC have impressed me.

When I was younger, I used to skate and know how comfy skating shoes are, not just for skating but for everyday use also.A few years down the line and i've stopped skating, but I always buy skating shoes. Since my old Airwalk shoes got knackered I decided to try out the DC brand and really, they are brill.The shoes I got was the Black and Emerald Green pattern, they not only stand out and look fantastic but they feel fantastic also. The back of the insole above the heel has great padding and the shoes don't constrict your feet. If your on your feet all day like myself, you should give these a shot.These have to be the best Skating shoes i've ever bought, am going to stay clear of Vans, Airwalk and Converse now and stick with DC.-Mark

I love these shoes!

DC skate shoes, especially this style, is the most comfortable, hard-wearing footwear I have ever owned. They support the in-step, provide cushioning and spring to the sole and plenty of toe room, even for wide feet. The elasticated tongue ensures the shoe fits securely and means you don't need to untie the laces. They also come through an automatic wash cycle and tumble dry perfectly (although the colour obviously fades a bit eventually).All in all the best shoes I've ever bought, which is why I keep buying the same ones - this is my 5th pair in about 7 years and I wear these all the time I'm not in work, which is testament to their quality.

Excelllent value and quality

I bought these for my son and he reports that they are very comfortable. The fact that they are still going without a rip, split or other damage is a great sign as it's not many pairs of shoes that last the distance with a 16 year old lad. He's also managed to get away with wearing them to school where black shoes are compulsory which is a huge plus in his eyes and saves me more money.

Owning and having tried a number of running tights, I can say that these are about one of the best if management of muscle is what you are after. These tights 'grab' your calves and thighs holding them firm while you run or work-out therefor giving a great and easier performance. Better still, they are a rare example of tights that actually do not slip away from your waist. Great shapers (nice bum) and are suitably masculine enough not to require shorts over them as the material and shape controls your wobbly bits. Good for recovery so get TWO pairs: highly recommended.

A lovely watch

Very smart, slim and classy looking watch.The pointers are a shade lighter in colour than the face which makes them easy to see even without my specs. The crystals at each quarter of the hour are beautifully understated. The bracelet is unusual but very smart and the clasp is very secure. This is my second Skagen watch and I really like them both for their expensive appearance at a reasonable price.

Usually relying on other users reviews before purchasing most things I buy, I have no hesitation in recommending this Skagen watch, Amazon and Watchmad the supplier. First class service and delivery, very happy.Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and for me this paticular model of Skagen watch ticked all my boxes. Not wanting a watch with a second hand or date window, it is classy, slimline, unfussy but still a bit of a looker.The watch strap is simple to adjust, comfortable and totally secure when fastened. Tells the time accurately, feels and looks great on the wrist. You know you're wearing something a bit differant from the other brands out there.Not too much to pay for a watch that has quality written all over it.

You gotta have style!!

This watch is just pure style! It is sooooooo comfy to wear you really don't know you have it on. I feel it is more of a dress watch but could be worn casually too. It is easy to read and sits on the wrist so elegantly. I will wear it for work mainly with a jacket and shirt. For the price it really is a steal. I can't say anything bad about it because there really is nothing negative at all about it. Dr Guy.

ordered the watch on a Monday arrived 8-30 the next day watch was everything I had hoped for but I suspect you need some sort of ology to work out the fastening but having had that little gripe a very smart watch indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!
