As a film fanatic I was devasted when my previous projector blew up. (Over use?) It had been very expensive and I was very anxious as to how this epson would perform. WOW!!!Set up within seconds. Picture quality when connected to freeview, DVD and PS2 superb. Quality of picture was sharp and realistic.The projector gives the same high performance even with the over head light on, something my previous projector would not have been able to cope with.only gripe is that I would have liked to have 2 extendable feet at the front.Performs as good as a projector in a higher price bracket. Great value.

This has got to be one of the best products I have ever bought.. I got it as a TV replacement to move to HD, and it has been fantastic. Being a projector gives you a couple of issues in a light room since you cant see the picture, but it works fine as is on a white wall when it is dark.The quality is perfect, and although it is 720p, most games on PS3 and 360 are designed for this, rather than 1080p. Blurays still look a lot better than dvd in 720p!One minor issue with it is that it is designed to either project upwards from a table, or to project upside-down in a special caddy attached to the ceiling. I have it tilted downwards on the top of a bookcase and it's fine.. The keystone correction makes all the lines look straight again.It accepts HDMI, composite and VGA-IN, as well as usb and S-Video, which gives it more inputs than most tvs..Oh yeah, the picture is about 100" too.. You can change the size a bit if that's too big.I had a glitch with it after a year where the colours gradually went blue at the top and green at the bottom, but the Epson engineer was quick to replace it. I think the bulbs are also covered by warranty, provided you clean the filters consistently. The warranty itself lasts three years, so basically, you're guaranteed not to have to spend money on a new bulb in that time, which is possibly the only reason for not buying a projector.

This projector is easy to use and is perfect for showing holiday pictures to a large group of family or friends.It is the perfect cinema experience if you add ice-creams and popcorn!
