Decent boots while they lasted

Comfortable from the start, reasonably light, genuinely waterproof. But after a year of daily use, they're showing wear badly; the uppers and sole are becoming detached in several places. My last pair of Magnums (the Elite II) lasted two years :-(

When I purchased for £9.19 for 2000 sheets for our office at work this was an amazing price and cheaper that Tesco Value paper we used previously .Shame the price has now gone up to over £20This paper is very thick and prints very good and clear.Hope if the price comes down i will buy some more for work and myself

great paper but make sure you get 4 packs!

the paper itself is brilliant and works well in my canon ink jet printer.It's thick enough to print double sided without seeing the other print from the other side.The paper feels lovely. I use it for my headed paper and to print client reports on. It gives a professional appearance.BUT I have ordered this paper from Amazon twice now and instead of 4 packs as stated I have only received 1 pack, you can buy one pack on it's own for about £10. Last time had to have a refund. This time replacement requested so fingers crossed because it's the best paper I have used.Update: replacement 4 pack arrived - single pack returned - very happy now!

Excellent entertainment

Before buying we read reviews of the similar model (DV 11) and also those of other (more expensive) projectors, also with built in DVD players.I contacted Optoma to ask what differences there were between the DVD100 & the DV11, they got back promptly to say the projectors were the same apart from the colour of the casing.We decided to buy the DVD100 and have not been disappointed in any respect. The unit is quite compact and the picture & sound quality are excellent. The projector is easy to use, comes with a very good instruction manual and a really neat,well made, padded bag to carry it in.We experimented with playing the sound through the hifi speakers but decided there wasn't much advantage as rhe sound quality from the projector itself is very good, a nice big sound.We are using an Optoma pull up screen and are thoroughly enjoying watching all our DVD films on an 80inch screen.We haven't had a television for 15 years now, but it's been really nice to be able to sit & enjoy films we want to watch using such a neat unit that combines projector, DVD player & good audio. It's been a great buy and one we'd recommend.

From lounge to Cinema in one easy lesson!

I was very pleased with the ease of use of this projector and the quality the images it produces.It really did give me the feel of being in a Cinema watching some of my favourite films and comedy series. Even when projected onto a light wall which is not actually white did not detract from the quality of the pictures.From a low level platform the image is thrown well up onto the wall so no precarious balancing on higher levels. Altering screen size and focus couldn't have been easier plus the noise level from the fan is neglegable.Although there are a variety of settings to 'improve' the images if wished, from day one I have not yet found this necessary.I am looking forward to connecting it to my computer for some serious large screen gaming!

Beautiful ring

Bought this ring for my daughter's birthday but ordered wrong size (my fault not sizing, that was accurate.) Great stapler

This heavy-duty stapler from Leitz works really well and would be ideal for office use or for organisations - but maybe a little too big for home use. The cartridge method of inserting the staples makes life easy but comes at a cost - even at Amazon's prices each individual staple will cost over 1p and could soon mount up over time - normal staples can cost as little as a couple of quid for 5000!However, for convenience and ease of use this stapler is in a different league to cheaper staplers, and with its ten year guarantee it should stand up to a lot of use. This is a good product if you can justify the cost; however other decent heavy-duty staplers can cost considerably less and may be a better option for some. This is by far the best stapler I have ever used and I have deducted a star only because of the cost of using it.

A Good Robust Stapler but....

While I really like a lot of things about this Heavy Duty Stapler, the only thing that niggled me was the cartridges not being very green. You cannot refill them, so once empty they have to be binned. The the cost of 5 new ones is not cheap if you are trying to keep costs down when doing projects for the Church Hall.Other than that the cartridges are very easy to load and change quickly. It was lovely to use and so easy, hardly any pressure. It stapled card together with ease, whereas my old was a nightmare for that job. The most paper I did was 80 sheets and it was pretty easy too.I think for the price the guarantee could have been longer than the One Year.

Seems nice and sturdy

The first thing I noticed when I opened the box of this stapler was that it seemed rather light and this worried me at first as I thought the fact that it was made of plastic might mean it wasn't all that sturdy. However, when I actually used it, I came to the realisation that in contrast to my initial belief, it certainly seems strong and up to the task, and of course, it is lightweight and very portable. As it claims, it staples 80 sheets of paper together with seemingly no effort at all. In fact, it could probably go through more than 80 sheets, but I thought it wise not to push it beyond its suggested range. As another reviewer has commented, it does not come with much in the way of instructions (only a small diagram on the box) but it took me seconds to figure it out as it is really not very complicated at all. Staples are supplied in cartridges of different colours; on the stapler there is a chart of what colour to use depending on how many sheets one wishes to staple, and the cartridges slide in effortlessly and come out again with a simple push of a button. The lever or arm of the stapler is long meaning that one need not apply much pressure to staple a quantity of sheets, so stapling is effortless. It has a deep throat so it is possible to maneuver the paper quite easily to get the staple positioned exactly when you want it.So you might wonder why I have given it only 4 stars and not 5 when it is obvious that I like this product. Well, I looked at other staplers that claimed to staple the same number of sheets together, and this one is considerably more expensive. Perhaps this extra expense is warranted - perhaps this stapler will outlive its counterparts, but since I have no way of testing that theory, I have deducted a star for the inflated price.

Still not playable by small hands

Although Aulos market this instrument as suitable for small hands, I still couldn't play it. However, I sold it on for the same price I paid to someone in my recorder class, and he is very pleased with it, so it's not all bad!Moral of the story - if you have to buy kiddie-sized gloves, get a tenor recorder with four keys.

Stunning looking ring!

This ring looks really stunning on, even though it is very dainty. Really glad i treated myself to it. Although the description says its 9ct it actually says 10ct on the ring itself. The only one disadvantage is because the ring has a certain height to it, it can tend to rub between your ring finger and little finger a bit, but i could not send it back just because of this as it is such a pretty ring so i wear it, only on special occasions.

Works well, but practise on scap paper first

This comb binder works well and I used it to bind our training guides, which were reasonably thick. My only caution is that it is depressingly easy to misalign the paper and thus punch holes too close to the edge. I recommend practising with some scrap sheets of A4 to get the hang of things, otherwise you will end up having to reprint your document a couple of times.

This was the most beautiful ring I own

In a word "Gorgeous". The two heart gems, on either side of the middle gem, are quite large and the gem in the middle larger but not huge. I'd say the gem in the middle is about the size of the two hearts combined. It is a lovely sea blue color where as the hearts, on either side, are almost white. It's the first ring I really like and is flattering with out being too excentric.

Brilliant item easily assembled

This toybox is well made, attractive, safe for toddler fingers, and very easy to assemble. I took about 45 minutes to put everything together. The directions are not brilliant but it is easy to overcome them and put things together if you have some experience. The lid hinges are perhaps the most unclear part of the build. We are delighted with the item. It arrived as advertised and we highly recommend it for someone looking for a small toybox.
